In 2020, Twist Bioscience actively sought guidance, support, and facilitation for company-wide diversity initiatives in order to foster a conducive environment for learning and growth.
In collaboration with their leadership team, we identified the needs of this biotech company, which enabled the creation of dedicated spaces for their global team to delve deeper into various aspects of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Karen Foster and I have been leading Twist's Diversity and Inclusion strategy, producing ongoing internal communications, hosting a monthly speaker series, facilitating company-wide discussion forums, and designing workshops centered around identity and intersectionality.

In my capacity as the civic engagement project manager, I provided support for a nationwide strategy aimed at mobilizing BIPOC youth aged 18-35 to vote in the midterm elections. Our efforts were primarily focused on historically excluded communities, and we utilized culturally tailored art campaigns and activations in key geographical areas.

As part of the development process for an upcoming television series that sheds light on the issue of sexual exploitation, I have supported the Wise team by providing subject matter expertise, engaging with the community, contributing to a transmedia strategy, and ensuring the involvement of survivor leaders in the creative development process, from on-the-ground research to participating in the writers' room.
NBA Performance Coach Ben Kenyon has a profound influence on the communities and teams he works with, serving as an unwavering source of inspiration. When Ben encountered a life-altering health condition, his personal value of gratitude became paramount, leading him to adopt a powerful mantra: "it's a great day to be alive." Motivated by a desire to delve deeper into this concept and uplift his community, Ben rebranded his former brand, TheYounique Piece, and established the Great Day Squad.
I provided strategic support to Ben during the transition of his existing brand, offering support in developing a more expansive vision, strategic planning, and executing the necessary steps to bring it to fruition.
In collaboration with Owen Jones and Resistance Communications, I played a key role in developing the issue and storytelling strategy for The Listening Sessions, a website dedicated to amplifying the voices of women and girl refugees in order to present solutions for a brighter future.
This project was guided by insights gained from over 500 interviews conducted with women and girls who arrived in the United States as refugees. These interviews shed light on the ongoing challenges they face during their resettlement journey, including navigating systemic barriers, discrimination, and violence.
